How AI billing actually works
We bill AI usage per "resolution": one conversation the AI closes on its own, without needing a human agent to step in. We don't bill per token or per message — a resolution is a unit any business owner can understand without doing math.
Every paid plan includes a monthly allowance of resolutions (25 on Pro, 1,000 on Business), and additional resolutions beyond that allowance are billed per unit at the plan's rate (US$1.00 on Pro, US$0.25 on Business). Usage is metered automatically as it happens and reflected in your account in real time.
Human agents never count toward this metric and are unlimited on every paid plan — the whole model is designed so that adding more people to your team never raises your bill. Only AI usage does.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a paid plan to use the Widget or the WordPress plugin?
No. Both are free forever, with no account and no usage limit, because they run entirely on your own site — there's no backend of ours to pay for.
What does the 7-day guarantee cover?
Everything. If Pro isn't for you within the first 7 days, you get a full refund — no forms, no questions designed to make you desist.
What counts as an AI "resolution"?
A conversation bills as one resolution only when all four hold: the AI gave a substantive answer, the contact never asked for a person, no human ever took over, and the contact did not write again within 24 hours. Two conversations from the same contact in that window count as one. Nothing is charged in the moment — the decision is made 24 hours later, and if the contact comes back, it is not billed. The AI itself never decides what you are charged.
What happens if I go over my monthly resolution allowance?
You're simply billed per additional resolution at your plan's rate (US$1.00 on Pro, US$0.25 on Business) — the service doesn't stop and there's no hard cutoff.
Why don't you charge per seat?
Because per-seat pricing punishes growth: every person you add raises the bill. Here human agents are unlimited on every paid plan — only AI usage is metered, and only when it actually resolves.
Is there a contract or minimum term?
No. Monthly plans are month to month; annual billing simply trades commitment for a lower effective rate. Canceling never breaks the free layer — your Widget keeps working.
Can I mix the free Widget on some pages and the platform on others?
Yes. Both are light clients that coexist across a site's pages while you evaluate the upgrade.
What am I getting in Pro versus Business, in one sentence?
Pro is the full product for one team (25 resolutions, 1 knowledge source); Business raises the ceilings — 1,000 resolutions, unlimited knowledge, departments, routing, deeper analytics and write API.
Are WhatsApp Business API costs included?
When WhatsApp lands as a platform channel, Meta's per-conversation fees are always separate — on every vendor, including us. Nobody honest includes them in a flat plan price.
