How AI billing actually works
We bill AI usage per "resolution": one conversation the AI closes on its own, without needing a human agent to step in. We don't bill per token or per message — a resolution is a unit any business owner can understand without doing math.
Every paid plan includes a monthly allowance of resolutions (250 on Pro, 1,000 on Business), and additional resolutions beyond that allowance are billed per unit at the plan's rate (US$0.35 on Pro, US$0.30 on Business). Usage is metered through Stripe's metered billing and shows up in your workspace's billing portal in real time.
Human agents never count toward this metric and are unlimited on every paid plan — the whole model is designed so that adding more people to your team never raises your bill. Only AI usage does.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a paid plan to use the Directory or the WordPress Plugin?
No. Both are free forever, with no account requirement and no usage limit, because they run entirely on your own site — there's no backend of ours to pay for.
What counts as a "resolution"?
A conversation the AI closes on its own, without a human agent needing to take over. If the AI hands off to a human, that conversation is not billed as a resolution.
Can I mix a free Directory on some pages and the paid platform on others?
Yes. The free snippet and the paid platform's widget are both light clients that can coexist across a site's different pages while you evaluate the upgrade.
What happens if I go over my monthly resolution allowance?
You're simply billed per additional resolution at your plan's rate — the service doesn't stop working and there's no hard cutoff.
